Searchregister is a scam
Yes it is.
First, you don’t need to do anything to have your website register by a search engine.
Google, Duckduckgo or Bing do that automatically and for free. So you don’t have any reasons to panick because your website is not “registered”.
About the services of searchregister: it can be real, but there are a lot of bad signs

When searchregister affirms that he will “register your website”, they could mean that they will create a google search console account and try accelerate the indexation of your pages -but I highly doubt they’ll harass themselves doing that.
There are also legitimate SEO agencies that can help your website rank higher in search results.
What is wrong with searchregister?
But there are huge red flags signaling that searchregister is absolutely not a serious and capable service provider.
If you have a little experience of the internet, you’ll see the scam coming from far.
But as scammers keep spending money spamming, we know for sure that some people still fall for it.
So, for them, here are the other elements that tells searchregister is a scam:
1. No legal notice displayed on searchregister
A genuine company will ALWAYS display an identification number and an address.
2. No terms

Have you clicked on terms at the end of the page ?
As you have to check a case confirming that you “agree to Search Register Terms and Policies” you may want to read it.
Here, the scammers don’t even make the effort of writing terms.
3. Impossible to join searchregister
The email given in the privacy policy and the disclaimer is not working.

And the phone number given on the front page is not in service.
4. Impossible to verify the signs of authority
The site displays many badges and certification. Have you verified them? They are all falsified.
And if you are observant you’ll see that the site design and Google, Bing and Yahoo logos used on the site are from 2006…
5. What do I do with my 75% coupon?
Searchregister gives you a 75% but there is no possibility of using it to reduce the amount you will pay. So wtf I do with my coupon?
Not a poorly made website: a scam
Some will say that all I have demonstrated so far is that the websites owner(s) is incompetent and may simply doesn’t know what he is doing.
Here’s why it is a scam:
1. GDPR violation by spamming
As the targeted customers are in the European Union, EU’s laws and GDPR applied. And spamming prospect through contact forms are prohibited.

That means that a company has to ask the prospect for its consent before sending a message and has to give him clearly the opportunity to unsubscribe.
2. The reasons why I can call it a scam
Deception about the service proposed
But to be a scam, the customer has to be deceived.
As you can read, the previous messages implied that you need searchregister to appear in the search results. That’s untrue and deceptive.
Doubtful usage of search engine logos

The usage of the -2006- Google, Bing and Yahoo logos may infer that searchregister partnered with them.
Falsification of certifications
If inference are not good enough for you, searchregister displays certifications that it doesn’t have.

“The seal is hosted and linked to a TRUSTe Validation Page to provide real-time verification along with an easily understood consumer notice on your certification.”1
SearchRegister displays only a self-hosted image file.
And for VeriSign secured, the certification is just obsolete as the brand has ceased to exists in 2010.
One Instacloud SRL
Legal precaution: I am not affirming anything about One Instacloud SRL other than a scam website is using payment links created by this company.
Everything else written or inferred here about One Instacloud SRL is just supposition.
What is the link between One Instacloud SRL and searchregister?
Just one: on the searchregister websites, the stripe and paypal payment links are creations of One Instacloud SRL.
One Instacloud SRL is a Romanian company whose declared field of activity corresponds to SEO services.
Let’s be imaginative:
Maybe One Instacloud SRL does a real service after getting paid?
Maybe it is only the owners of the searchregister websites that are scammers and One Instacloud SRL is unrelated to it?
But aside from its presence in the Romanian business registry, nothing else can be found. One Instacloud SRL looks more like a legal front receiving payments than a genuine SEO agency.
There is (very) probably no real work done

My guess is that no results are expected. At best, they will put a link of your website on a directory they own, but search engines are not dumb and that will not help your website.
The most probable scenario is that they’ll just take your money and do nothing.
If you really want SEO services, search a serious agency.
A twenty years old scam
This scam seems to appear periodically over the years. On the searchregister websites, we can read that the brand was created in 2006.
You’ll find another blogger which has reported this scam in 2014 here: https://squelchdesign.com/featured/search-registration-scams/.
As you noticed, prices have decreased a lot since 2014 going from $400 to $15…
How to fight this scam
Reporting to the host will give no results
From my experience, reporting to the hosts or the registrar will give no results.
If the host isn’t bulletproof, they’ll just move to another.
What could work: reporting the company receiving the payments
Legal precaution: I am not affirming anything about One Instacloud SRL other than a scam website is using payment links created by this company.
Everything else written or inferred here about One Instacloud SRL is just supposition.
Without any means to recover the money, there is no scam possible.
To receive payments via Stripe or Paypal, they’ll need a legal cover: a small Romanian company named One Instacloud SRL.3
If stripe or paypal ban this company from using their services, things will become much more harder for our scammers.4
Finding a new company to receive payments will be a lot more difficult than just recreating a website.5
Report the transfer as fraudulent to your bank
If you have already paid, things are not over yet. Report the transfer as fraudulent to your bank.
You may get a refund plus it may start an investigation on the doing of One Instacloud SRL.
Report the company to stripe and paypal
As it may change, you have to verify that the payment links on the searchregister websites are effectively One Instacloud SRL ones before reporting.
Here is a mail to send to stripe at this link: https://stripe.com/en-no/complaints

Hello,
I would like to report to you One InstaCloud SRL and the following payment links:
-https://buy.stripe.com/fZu4gycEB9mH2r032g2Fa03
-https://buy.stripe.com/9B63cu9sp42n1mWdGU2Fa04
These three links are used on the following websites linked to spamming activities and are displaying false certifications and no legal notices:
- searchregister.net
- searchregister.info
- searchregister.org
Thank you for investigating the issue and take appropriate action.
Best Regards.
I have not found a way to report someone using Paypal for receiving payment for a scam without paying them. So shame on Paypal.
Will that work?
This is not a big scale scam, but with these reports, Stripe or Paypal may start to investigate the matter of those links directly related to a scam website.
